The other day we bought some mcdonalds for dinner. It used to be about $5 per meal, now it's like $8.50. Crazy!

Did you get a tenth pounder with cheese?

Or two mostly beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun?

I have not gone to McDonalds for years. Don't ever intend to again. It's not because of the price. 😝

I too have not been to Mickey's for some years, and also not because of the prices. Prices are up all over the place. My reason is logistics -- too far away, too much trouble, etc to get there.

I like McD's, always have. There were times when nothing but a freshly prepared Double Cheeseburger would suit -- nothing.

If I have some antacids with me, I will on occasion get a McDouble. It’s like $2 of deliciousness that kicks you in the gut an hour later.

Nope, but the other day they did forget the bottom bun of the sandwich. You had one job...

Yeah, and imagine the guy after you who didn't get the top bun.

They saved the cost of a whole bun - promotion is in sight.

My twin 18 year olds work at a local Mcdonalds. After about 9 months, they're making $16 & $17/hr.

The article is suggesting blaming minimum wage increases, but they're making well above minimum. They're just trying to find and hang onto halfway decent employees. (hint--they're not doing so well, lol)

It is interesting that McDonalds does allow some variety of the menu for local tastes.

When I was growing up, McDonalds was first becoming popular in Taiwan.

The most popular menu items were fried chicken and corn soup!!
