So I opened my Crypto app for the first time in 4 months, and found the balance had grown 600% since I last saw it…
Still negative, though.

Hahaha totally fair! I haven't checked my balances, I just saw some charts in headlines that show a bit of an upward trend.
Anyway, @LuFins-Dad will let me know when SHIBA goes to the moon, then I'll sell. I think I have 26 million SHIBA coins.

I know this has been talked about through this thread, but I just don't get crypto. To me it is like the tulip craze in Nederlands.
I have a friend who is a crypto fan and challenged him to live off of crypto for one month and I will do the same with USD. But, he would actually have to convert crypto into goods directly. He couldn't convert to "money" first.
He declined.

I have a friend who is a crypto fan and challenged him to live off of crypto for one month and I will do the same with USD. But, he would actually have to convert crypto into goods directly. He couldn't convert to "money" first.

Optimistic take on BitCoin specifically is that it turns to gold. Gold has no value - just a shiny metal that we all believe in. Bitcoin is supposed to be digital gold that's less subject to political shifts.
That's the theory anyways.....
I personally don't see much value in it - but I don't see much value in gold either.

I have made over $1k and I have my key.

The only "problem" I have is that I moved my SHIB to a private wallet during the last "crypto scare" when exchanges were failing, and to move it to where I can cash out, I have to buy $50 minimum purchase of Ethereum to pay for the transfer to an exchange. Should probably do that sooner than later as ETH keeps going up too.
