I used to eat grannysmiths a lot but took a break... the tartness can be extreme!

I don't really see the point of apples. We buy them, they go off because nobody eats them, we throw them out.

I prefer my own, but apple production is hit and miss down here. Helps if we have a cold winter.
The varieties I have are Golden Dorset and Anna. Both are tart, but not quite as much as a Granny Smith.

That middle row is essentially tasteless. I enjoy most apples. Some days the Fuji is the greatest apple in the world, sometimes it’s the Granny Smith… Most days it’s something in between, but the middle row? Bleach.

Don't know Snapdragon, agree on the rest of the middle row -- except Honeycrisp! Have you tried that one? It is definitely not tasteless. Recommended.
