It's political.
One doesn't dwell in the depths of The Swamp for as long as Fauci has, without acquiring a maximum amount of slime. He quit being a doctor a long time ago.
Time for him to retire.

If everyone took the vaccine we would be in a very different place.
But words and superstitions and tribalism are more important than facts and even the most obvious statement in the world will be ripped to shreds.
More important to be whatever than accurate.

Oklahoma is running out of desperately needed pediatric hospital beds throughout the state amid rising COVID-19 cases, a surge in a separate serious respiratory illness and nursing shortages.
Some children have been sent out of state to other hospitals because of a lack of beds in Oklahoma.
Now the kids are hit hard. Yeah, the vaccines have not been approved for kids younger than 12,. That’s why it’s even more important for the grownups to get vaccinated to protect the kids they into contact with.

How much difference does it make, when it's been shown that many of the carriers are vaccinated?

I assume you mean Bret Weinstein. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) He is under the impression that Ivermectin as a preventative is equal to the vaccine. He definitely takes the virus seriously, based on everything he has actually said. I haven't heard him trash Fauci, but I'm sure you heard that. But then we're back to what you hear, vs what anybody ever actually says.

That’s pretty funny. So far I am emotional and self righteous and now hearing things. I don’t why you think you can gaslight me? Does it work with others?
Nothing in my post was vaguely gaslighting. I made fact-based claims, and I asked fact-based questions. But you heard gaslighting...

An old friend who is a nurse in Orlando messaged me last night. They are getting swamped again down there. 9 hour waits at ERs unless you are dying. She states lots of J&J vaccinated getting sick. She also states Uncle Sam has sent busses full of infected illegals there. Hospitals are paying huge bonuses to nurses who will work overtime.
I really don’t know what to think….today in the ER
, I had a 47 yr old male today…covid + in January….got better, had 2 jabs….got covid again 3 mos later, relatively mild….then better with negative test….the covid + again this week requiring high flow oxygen

Vets have been fighting coronavirus problems long before SARS, let alone COVID. They've not made a huge amount of progress.
I've got the feeling we are going to be living with our Chicom gift for a long time...
