Not a huge fan. But I haven’t thought enough of the implications to oppose it strongly. I also don’t know how much of an impediment it is to companies going public. Seems to me that companies automate most of the reporting anyway and once you’ve done that the extra effort for 4x a year rather than 2x probably isn’t that big a deal.

I like his ‘happiness = quality of life - envy’ formulation too. Though maybe it’s QOL-resentment, which is when envy takes its toxic form.

Genuine question - what’s the rationale (even just the official one) for banning Fable/Mythos just for non-US citizens? The US is not lacking in motivated hackers/criminals and surely hacker/criminal networks can find themselves a US citizen.
