Another police traffic stop gone wrong

That is the question - what was the proximate cause of this incident? It cannot be the stop. Police were doing what we hire police to do. So the question then becomes, would this have happened if the deceased had complied with the officers? Obviously not.
Honestly, if it were my family member I would put at least equal blame on them.

I'd be happy for the police to be less militarized. The rest of what she said would disqualify her from being elected in a sane world, but undoubtedly won't.

Let's say that the officer meant to fire her taser but mistakenly fired her gun instead. Now what?
Imagine for a moment the person thus killed was your brother or your son, are you going to look at this one fact that "the officer mistook up her gun for her taser" and tell yourself "well that's life" and let it be the end of it all?
Change that perspective again and try to imagine yourself as the police captain or the police chief, you learnt that an officer on your force mistook her gun for a taser and unintentionally killed a person as a result. Are you going to tell yourself "well that's life" and let it be the end of it all?
One last one, imagine yourself to be the person who mistook your gun for a taser and you killed another person with it. Would you expect to just say "oops" and that will be end of it all?

The left leaning humans don't really understand the concept of personal responsibility. They think "what if it was your family member" is some sort of trump card for every anecdote. Redo all of society because "what if it was your family member".
These small people, small thinkers, just don't understand societies. They only understand their own families. They really do need the rest of us to do their thinking for them.

BTW...There were four cops at this traffic stop. Why? Outstanding warrant for illegal firearms possession and he had a probation hold.
If he hadn't slipped his restraints and tried to make a run for it, he'd be alive today...

Each year in the USA there are 10,000,000 arrests made, of which about 1,000 deaths by police, of which only 50 involved an unarmed suspect (although there could be justified use, such as using a car as a weapon) and of the 50 I think 35 were white and 18 were black... oh and of all 50...I'm guessing all 50 were resisting arrest.
So yes. Don't be a criminal. AND if you are one, don't resist arrest. This would solve 99.9999999% (if not 100%) of the problems people are protesting.
