Re the above, it seems to me if approval isn’t imminent they should send them to Canada with the idea that Canada will redirect equivalent numbers back here once we do approve.

Nice! (Shoulda happened a couple of weeks ago, glad the press shined light on it, that probably made a difference)

Vaccine passports takes care of this very nicely. We’ve tried coaxing. Time to move on or all our lives and livelihoods will be majorly impacted.

        Enough already.

95% efficacy vs getting the disease, and 100% efficacy against anything beyond mild cold symptoms. Get your vaccine when you are able, wait your 30 days for full efficacy, then lead your life without any concerns. If somebody chooses to not get theirs, then that is on them. If they want to risk it, it’s their call. Who cares?

If somebody offered me the chance, I'd tear their arm off.

It's maybe a little early to be pointing the finger of self-righteous fury at people who haven't been vaccinated. I'm still silently and busily mouthing 'wanker' at people shopping without a mask on. If nothing else, wearing a mask is great for dealing with irritation.

          I was only joking

W00t!! I'm scheduled for next Thursday at. . . Safeway just down the street!
I don't have to go to the airport or convention center.
I checked every day, and the calendar for getting the shot at any local pharmacy was always grayed out for March and April. But last night, there was one date that was green, and I grabbed it.
            Damn good, eh? Doo-wat-doo-wat!!

Excellent, Rainman! So glad to hear this.

Maybe take a day off after it. I had mine yesterday in the late afternoon. By last night, I had a slight temp, fatigue, and lots of aches. Today is better, but still not great.

You also get to have a chocolate malt after the shot. That's what happened here.

Brenda, I didn't think of that. Taking a day off because. . .

So, it's possible that I will feel really lousy, for days.

I really do deserve a mild reaction.

The seven people I know who've had the Oxford-AZ vaccine all felt a little grotty next day, as warned.
I had my jab yesterday and this morning feel a bit achey, bit headachey, generally weary.

Nah, I doubt you'll feel lousy for days, probably more like a couple days at most. That's why you should have the malt. I recommend chocolate.

A chocolate malt does wonders for that. We ordered curbside service to get ours. Yes, you can get it delivered to your vehicle. Extra chocolate, too. 🙂

LOL when I saw this article I thought of your prior notes on AZ

If there is not enough vaccine to put in arms, the choice is covid death vs regulatory compliance. Choose and live or die with it.

And tell everyone more people are dying because of the choice to delay or cause more distrust.

                                  It’s easy.
