No. It was resigned and lame. The only shred of human decency in it was he recognized that he had milked the crowd for all he could get and it hadn't worked.

Dana Perino just commented that she's been around a lot of protests in the Capitol building, and the police, etc, have always been prepared for things - most recently the BLM protests.
How is it that they were not prepared for this, she asks? They've known about this for weeks.

Looking for the silver lining - the mere fact that this happened will act as something of a pressure release valve for his side. Not a total one, obviously, but a little bit of catharsis.
Another silver lining, a lot more republican politicians are going to be able to disassociate now.
