What are you thankful for? My list:

    • My family's in an ideal spot to ride this shit out, both career-wise and in terms of local geography.
    • I got out of a horrendous job situation. So did my old boss.
    • I still meet with my D&D group, in the midst of all of this year's horseshit. Once or twice a month we meet to explore vampire tombs and make jokes about Christopher Lee. Which is good.
    • You lot.

    Please love yourself.

            Multiple vaccines at 95% effectiveness.

Family can ride this out indefinitely

Son seems none the worse for wear because of it. I realize that’s not typical.

A great family and two adorable dogs visiting. Nice to have critters in the house.

Thankful for many of the things already mentioned. But also for-

my 91 yo mother being relatively healthy and active.
my husband, who takes such good care of us.

A Thanksgiving meal that is more appropriately portioned. It’s probably the first Thanksgiving meal in my adult memory where I did not eat too much.

In hind sight, for all my life to date I do not remember having to starve. That is probably sufficient reason to be thankful.
