    From the same wsj piece:

The Journal/NBC News poll interviewed 1,000 registered voters from Oct. 9-12. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

The Journal/NBC News poll interviewed 1,000 registered voters from Oct. 9-12. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

The poll didn’t detail reasons why respondents might or might not be interested in taking a vaccine.

Only 10% of Black people said they would take a vaccine once one became available, compared with 20% of white people and 12% of Hispanic people, according to the survey. Thirty percent of Black people said they would not take a vaccine at all, compared with 15% of white people and 20% of Hispanic people, according to the WSJ/NBC poll.

The poll found that 82% of registered Democrats would take a vaccine immediately or after learning more about side effects, compared with 62% of Republican voters. The poll also found that individuals with college or graduate school degrees were more likely to say they would take a vaccine.

In other words, if some are reluctant to take the vaccine, we should not offer it?

We should do what we can to increase confidence in the process that Trump has already done grave damage to.

Part of that is firing him in 2 weeks.

You know the FDA process for medication. Do you think Biden could have gotten anything done this fast?

And I know the approval process for testing a helluva lot better than most. The speed of approval for tests is unlike anything in my lifetime. I don't think Biden has the balls to do what Trump did to the FDA, in regards to testing.

Really I think these state bodies don't really need to do much other than see if the process followed the FDA guidance published in June and the emergency authorization guidance published 2 weeks ago.

If Trump and Azar overrule that guidance, the states merely need to enforce it. That doesn't delay the process, it restores it.

My trust in a vaccine is 100% independent of Trump. I’ll bite and trust your comment is intellectually honest. Now explain why trust is gravely damaged in the public.

I wrote about it in depth here.

Since then he has pushed back against FDA guidance on emergency approval considerations. All with the same end in mind, his own electoral fortunes.

Whether I take it right away depends on the technology, If it is a standard, well tested for of vaccine technology I will get it ASAP. If it's new technology which has been worked with I may wait just a bit.

Because they are so much smarter or because they have been subjected to more indoctrination and are more pliant?

As far as when to take the vaccine is concerned, I assume the Ministry of Truth will let us know as the level of safety develops.

The crazy-long Twitter thread Bach(?) posted about vaccine technology is pretty instructive on that. I think chances are good that it won't be one of the more innovative vaccines that are the first out of the gate.

                          Please love yourself.
