Buddy Holly, Mac Davis, Waylon Jennings.

All from one small Texas town...

Vince Gill had Sierra Hull on his part of the show. She's talented. Don't know if you peg her as newgrass, or what...

Wow..that song is brilliant - so many styles and influences in one place. And her voice is marvelous.

Will have to look her up.

Must be terribly difficult for someone like Gill to experience that.

He's got a good sense of humor about it...Says he sings in the highest key of anyone in his house and everybody else is female. When he got the chuckle from the audience he was anticipating, he followed it up with the line, "Yeah, I know I sing like a woman, and I've got a really nice house because of it."😄

Listening to "25 Trips" album on Apple Music now. Interesting, unconventional, stuff. She certainly knows how to mix styles within one song. Sometimes it's jarring, LOL.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

She did an old Doc Watson tune, where she swapped her mandolin for a guitar. Very talented guitarist, also.

Newgr or not, I’d definitely peg it.
