I don't think that's correct. From what I've read, the boyfriend who fired at the police was Kenneth Walker, the drug dealers under investigation were Jamarcus Glover and Adrian Walker (no relation). Glover was an ex-boyfriend.

As with Jon, I haven't followed the details too closely. But the fact is that someone in the apartment fired at the police.

What should the police have done in that case? Say "Don't shoot!"?

Conversely, Kenneth Walker was licensed to carry, and a bunch of people come piling into the house, who he may or may not have known were the police. Is it particularly surprising that he fired at them?

That's what was reported. He thought they were home invaders. No body cams on the officers; we just have their testimony saying they knocked and announced themselves, and all the neighbors saying otherwise. Which, c'mon.

    Please love yourself.

The left, commenting on this case but for a different skin color of the slain: "Well, we told you, guns are bad. More likely to kill you than protect you. Tsk tsk."

        Two cops shot.

One officer was shot in the abdomen below their bulletproof vest and is in surgery, and a second was shot in the thigh, according to the source.

According to the AG announcing the indictment that is not the case.

So the only police officer facing charges is the one officer that DIDN’T shoot Taylor, and the charges he faces are for missing. Missing very badly.

There was one neighbor that testified they did knock and announce themselves. The grand jury did have all of the testimony from the neighbors to weigh in theiir deliberation, and until we find evidence otherwise, we have to assume they legitimately found no reason to pursue charges.

I might add that in that neighborhood, it seems likely that most neighbors would dispute anything involving the police...

Just heard an attorney and former head of the Louisville NAACP interviewed. He stated emphatically that the warrant was issued legally and that police procedure was properly followed in carrying out the warrant.

He stated the officers returned fire when shot at. The young lady's death was a horrible tragedy, but was not intentional nor racist.I

He was worried about mob violence and a disrespect for the rule of law.

Yeah because police officers never corroborate each other's stories to protect themselves. Like, never.

I think the chances are good the officers charged in a little too eagerly. I didn't say that's what happened, no one here knows that. I'm just guessing. I absolutely don't buy the racism garbage.

TuCa outlined the facts of the case.

                        1. Upon entering the dark apartment, Taylor's boyfriend, a drug dealer (that's what the warrant was about), shot and struck a police officer.

I don't think that's correct. From what I've read, the boyfriend who fired at the police was Kenneth Walker, the drug dealers under investigation were Jamarcus Glover and Adrian Walker (no relation). Glover was an ex-boyfriend.

Kenneth Walker had a gun and shot a cop, because there was knocking at the door.

Personally, I want to know more about why DEMOCRAT GREG FISCHER, the mayor of Louisville FOR TEN YEARS and the Louisville City Council led by DEMOCRAT David James and consisting of Jessica Green DEMOCRAT, Barbara Shanklin DEMOCRAT, Krishna Dorsey DEMOCRAT, and 16 other DEMOCRAT members vs 6 Republican, green, and independent council members have chosen to run a police department full of fascist and racist pigs headed up by DEMOCRAT AND TRUMP CRITIC Steve Conrad.

These officers reported to DEMOCRAT Conrad, who reported in turn to DEMOCRAT FISCHER, DEMOCRAT Cindy Fowler, DEMOCRAT Mark Fox, so many more old white DEMOCRATS.

Wait but everyone I see online is saying we should β€œvote for change” so they are voting republican?

They also don't understand that local elections always lead to more direct change.

                                  Please love yourself.

As it should be. Local and state taxes shoud exceed federal and programs should be moved to those levels.

We can't push everything down but what can be effectively should be. This is where innovation will come from.
