Blake Shooting

No, but there is another video that shows what happened a few seconds before. Police were trying to take Blake into custody but he struggled, broke away and headed for his car.

He had a warrant for his arrest for a sexual crime with a fifteen year-old.

I guess he knew that his past had finally caught up with him so why bother responding to the police. Still in this day and age the police have to figure out how not to shoot someone, unless I suppose they see the gun in hand. That’s the way it is I guess.
The law when you can shoot needs to be clarified. Honestly I am surprised police officers continue to take the risk. Must be the adrenaline pump at play.

A new video from a different angle seems to make it less likely he had reached for a gun in the car as proximate cause. He goes from being on the ground held by police to being up and moving toward the other side of the car and then shot. Shot 7 times and apparently has both intensives removed along with the paralysis.
We haven’t heard the cops side of the story but it looks horrible at face value.

It does show them shooting him in the back. It also shows that police had weapons drawn were telling him to stop and he ignored their commands, walking away from the and getting in his car. While one might argue they should not have shot, you can certainly argue that Blake put himself where he is.
I saw someone on social media say he specifically told them he was getting his gun. Is that true? Haven't seen it elsewhere.
One thing I can say is I've been punked enough by incomplete video snippets over the years to avoid drawing conclusions prematurely.

I also heard he was tazed to no effect. But you are right about "early reportage".
Watched a video the other day of a guy the police were putting cuffs on. He struggled, with them and they did taze him. Before they could get cuffs on him he struggled more and got away. He got to his car, pulled his gun and put pills in both cops.
People think putting a teacher in a COVID-age class room as a risk too great to the teacher. They never signed up to be willing to die for their job. But a cop is supposed to wait for Mr. Blake to turn around with a visible pistol before they get to shoot? Yes, cops signed up to put their life on the line. But not to have to put themselves at that much of a disadvantage.
Every news anchor and politician that doesn't call for calm and order and to wait until the facts comes out is responsible for every riot, all the property damage, injury, and the deaths that come with their irresponsible race baiting.

Another case of police under a Democrat Mayor and Democrat controlled council attacking an unarmed black man. Why do these Democrat City Officials keep attacking African Americans?

In all of the dozens of riot-inducing videos, I think in every single case, it’s someone resisting arrest.
