If you watch the last play, right after we first control the puck, Jack Hughes makes an extremely risky gamble by poking at the puck to keep it moving down the ice. Of course we know he barely (by an inch?) hit the puck before the Canadian player and he ended up scoring about 5 seconds later. But had he not hit the puck first the Canadians would've had an easy 2 vs 0 and likely would've won it for their side. I'll see if I can find a clip.

In addition to randomly the FBI director chugging beers in the locker room, it's getting a bit weird. While on a call with President Trump talking to the men's team just after they won, Trump basically said they're invited to the white house and he guess he has to invite the women's team too so he doesn't get impeached. (The women's team also beat Canada for gold in overtime).
Anyway, I believe the women's team just announced they will not be going to the white house.
