Maybe we'll have a new Trump-based series called The East Wing and then the first episode is just it being torn down followed by 45 minutes of a spinning trump gold coin.

Not to pile on the bandwagon, but it's on my list to binge as well. Maybe I'll start it next week when I have to fly to DC again.

@andyd do you mean House or House of Cards? The latter I heard is amazing, but of course falls apart when Spacey is canceled. Not sure I want to invest time in a show that ends like that.

        @89th
House, the Doctor. One of my daughters is currently binging it and I got sucked into a couple of episodes.

I'd add I bought the West Wing dvd set, it's that good.
House of Cards, I preferred the UK version.

@andyd I see clips from House, it always seems interesting. Don't google a picture of what he looks like today, I believe he has aged or become ill or something. Unless it was fake, it was a bit sad. Anyway... I've always had a bit of an urge to binge ER one day, it seems like a show that really changed TV to an extent.

If anyone cares, and I know @george-k would... my favorite TV show of all time is The Shield. I plan to binge The Wire one day too, I've heard that it's ranked (along with Breaking Bad) as the best series of all.

I suppose he, Laurie, is a couple of years older than me, and looking in the mirror I ain't too pretty these days 😄

I'll add The Shield, ER, and The Wire to my list.

            Happy New Year

I put off watching that for years, and then absolutely loved it. Dominic West was so convincing as an American cop that I didn't realise it was the same bloke that normally plays posh English blokes until about the third episode.

              I was only joking

His American accent slips when he raises his voice. Noticed it a couple times. Anyway, good show.

I watched the first season of the wire and liked it. Then the second the show completely changed. They may have well renamed it. It was probably still good but I stopped watching for whatever reason.

I’ve still only ever binged two shows, both were in the days where Netflix would mail you the DVDs…

Every season is a new story focused on a new aspect of crime or law enforcement or media in Baltimore. I recall liking some seasons much more than others. Like a lot of people, I thought Omar was the most fun. He was also the least realistic character. More of a superhero. I guess that makes my tastes banal.

                      I started on House(MD) today.
Channel 4 streaming, 8 series, 22 episodes per.
                      ...may be some time
