(My own opinion on Ashley Babbit is FAFO.)

    Education is extremely important.

Pfft. If Renee Good was ramming her car over and over trying to break through a police line with a cop pointing a gun for a while saying if you cross this line you will get shot….then you’d have an equal analogy. But the shooting here is akin Ashley walking past a cop at the front doors of the Capitol and him shooting her from the side.

And yes in both cases I agree the FAFO reality played out.

Summary execution style, right? Yeah that’s exactly what that situation was. None of these garbage pieces of rhetoric helps. It’s just cathartic to the person saying it. Meanwhile, it just increases the temperature. But hey, elbows up.

And how many times in your life has someone who is demonstrably antagonistic to you accelerated their SUV towards you such that if you don’t move exactly then, you get crushed? That’s happened to you zero times. Don’t answer please. But hey you know 10 Capitol police who committed suicide because they were employed to quell a riot. So you know. You really know.

              Sorry, you know me. 🙂

Zero times is correct, because if I think someone is going to potentially use deadly force with their vehicle, zero times have I decided "hey I'm still going to walk in front of it while holding my camera".

It’s an interesting contrast with your weepiness about all the Capitol police suicides you were familiar with, as a result of the impossibility of living through Jan 6. As you like to note, when the political poles are reversed, attitudes change.

What was the tally of Capitol police officers who killed themselves due to the weight of living through Jan 6 again? As I recall, you kept close count. It could be up to like a thousand by now. I wouldn’t trade a single one of those magnificent heroes for a thousand fascist ICE officers. I’ll tell you that.

                        Horace I agree.
This woman was actively interfering with law officers activities and could arguably be said to be a danger to the public having foolishly and illegally parked her car across a public road.
The officers very clearly requested multiple times for her to get out of the stationary car. She then chose to purposely drive her car backwards while an officer was attempting to open the car door and then forwards towards another officer.
                        She undoubtedly weaponised the car.
She certainly was the cause of the incident.
She was not verbally protesting in a peaceful manner.

If I was the officer standing in front as she drove forwards I would probably also have taken a shot at the driver. Reasonable self defence.

However the shots he made from the side of the car surely ought to have been at the tyres. A jury ought to decide on his intent and punishment.
