The alternative would not have tried to take Greenland.

Do you honestly think you are changing anyone’s mind? As awful as he is, he’s still a better president than she would have been.

You’re right, @axtremus … The alternative would likely have surrendered to Greenland…

No, he's not. But it's irrelevant.

          I was only joking

In my reality the alternative would have been named Nikki Haley. None of this constant uncertainty and chaos in trade, foreign or domestic policy would be happening.

No one can say she didn’t warn the world of what this maniacal demogogue would unleash if put back in office

I was Team Nikki too. Smart, capable, backbone and some sense of restraint.

Let's be honest, the fucking meteor would be doing a better job at this point.

Indeed. Instead we all appear doomed to have to endure the near future (and beyond) with this jackass of the apocalypse.

                      Paul Krugman quote from Substack:

                      · A tariff to promote territorial expansion is clearly illegal, under any sane interpretation of U.S. trade law. This is on the Supreme Court, which is obviously dithering while the world burns

                      · Trump thinks, or at least wants to believe, that tariffs are a Veg-O-Matic policy that can accomplish all goals. They slice! They dice! They eliminate budget deficits! They reindustrialize! They intimidate foreigners!

                      Elbows up!

SCOTUS really needs to pull it's finger out. What worries me is where said finger might be currently inserted.
