You want charisma or competence? Charisma buys you Newsom.

Of course not. You can’t vote. 😆

So you agree Trump and Vance have charisma.

Trump does. Vance, not so much. You might disagree, but I really don't think Vance had much to do with Trump getting elected. His last VP was much the same. I honestly can't remember his name as a write this, which says something....

I could point out that charisma obviously isn't necessarily a good thing. A trawl through the history books can teach us that.

I thought you quite charismatic. It's too bad we're not close enough to lift a pint from time to time. I really enjoyed meeting you, Quirt, Mary Anna and Beelady.

Yes, it would be nice to meet up again. I used to see Quirt from time to time, but he's moved now, as have I.

Megan Kelly wants JD with Marco as his VP.

Vance/Rubio to me seems like the obvious choice, almost a foregone conclusion.

I'm not sure I would say Vance has charisma, but he's much more eloquent and able to defend a position than Trump.

Since 2000, I count two presidential candidates with obviously more charisma than Vance. Obama and Trump.

I think W beats him, though maybe not obviously so. Grok and ChatGPT both agree for whatever that’s worth.

                              Prompted as follows:

Who has more charisma , Vance or GW Bush (consider Bush as he was 25 years ago)

Maybe McCain too. But I’ll say Vance over Kerry, Romney, Hillary, and Biden.
