Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a meaningful vote in a national election that will fix this. A lucky few might be able to cast their vote locally and get a responsible person into congress.

He and Rand Paul are two folks whom I may not always agree with, but at least I respect them for having principles. Most of congress are actors on a stage - better yet, marionettes whose strings are controlled a select few. I'm not sure how sustainable that kind of third world government is, but right now its path seems assured.
