He and Rand Paul are two folks whom I may not always agree with, but at least I respect them for having principles. Most of congress are actors on a stage - better yet, marionettes whose strings are controlled a select few. I'm not sure how sustainable that kind of third world government is, but right now its path seems assured.

Seems like our fiscal problem is beyond the capacity of our form of government to fix. At least in polarized times. We probably will need a large external shock to get there.
