Also, the ‘smelly old man in the grocery store’ has been a thing as long as I can remember so maybe the no-soap thing isn’t so new.

I’ve known for a while I have nearly the exact same routine in the shower, down to every movement including washing and rinsing and even how I towel off. Been that way for years, it’s oddly robotic. For order of operations, shampoo first, then bar of soap (lather in hands) for my face, pits, and nethers. Rarely I’ll wash the arms or legs, but usually not.

I think I mentioned in another thread a treat I discovered all too late is the use of a 2nd towel. Use first towel for primary drying then switch to the 2nd completely dry towel for an extra nice way to finish drying, especially the hair.
