Evidently, it's becoming a thing. I only lather up about every second or third shower. I do use soap to wash my hands and always shampoo for hair. I find I don't sweat nearly as much as when i was younger and just don't really get that dirty. I do use a handheld at sandblast setting for pits and nether regions.

It's occurred to me that I probably don't need to use soap, but I always do.

Interestingly enough I'm actually incapable of sweating. It was a condition brought on by the adrenaline rush caused by crossing a busy road on the way to buy some pizza.

I’ve known for a while I have nearly the exact same routine in the shower, down to every movement including washing and rinsing and even how I towel off. Been that way for years, it’s oddly robotic. For order of operations, shampoo first, then bar of soap (lather in hands) for my face, pits, and nethers. Rarely I’ll wash the arms or legs, but usually not.

I think I mentioned in another thread a treat I discovered all too late is the use of a 2nd towel. Use first towel for primary drying then switch to the 2nd completely dry towel for an extra nice way to finish drying, especially the hair.

Yeah, mine is a routine without variation too, unless I shave n the shower, which I do for a blade shave.
