I don't know that a bunch of people denying the science of vaccines constitutes a serious lack of public confidence. More like a lack of sense.

Thinking through his presidential examples. Guys my age might remember the ‘President’s Physical Fitness Test’. I looked it up, it’s from the Nixon administration. And it was inspired by an Eisenhower initiative.

Trump just signed an EO bringing this back.

I remember that. The only thing I could not do was throw the ball far enough. Did the boys do pull -ups? We did something called the flexed arm hang.

Yep. That was back when schools recognized that there material differences of body composition between boys and girls, and they don’t go away just because the boy has ladyfeelz.

Four top resignations at CDC including the head who was just sworn in a few weeks ago.

Apparently they don’t want their names associated with the witch doctors the nanny state leftist crank has put in charge of vaccine policy.

                  https://news.bloomberglaw.com/health-law-and-business/us-approves-latest-covid-shots-with-new-limits-on-who-gets-them

The FDA approved an updated Pfizer-BioNTech COVID vaccine for adults 65 and older.

Younger people, between 5 and 64, are eligible if they have at least one underlying health condition putting them at high risk for severe outcomes from the virus.
"FDA has now issued marketing authorization for those at higher risk: Moderna (6+ months), Pfizer (5+), and Novavax (12+)," Kennedy said.

My wife just sent me the FDA update. Our normal fall flu (and COVID) shots for us and the kids I guess will just be flu shots now.

                        Sod off Mr. Kennedy…..

Aug 11 (Reuters) - An influential U.S. medical journal is rejecting a call from Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to retract a large Danish study that found that aluminum ingredients in vaccines do not increase health risks for children, the journal's editor told Reuters.
