How old is your daughter 89th? If she is older than 3, in afraid it’s too late! Any dreams of becoming a top level pianist should be discouraged. Her window has already closed. Her formative brain has already been filled with so much clutter as to interfere with its sponge like ability to absorb and learn and master something new. I am kidding of course because i started at 8, and look how famous i am now because of the piano.
. I make a habit of suggesting to young parents how important it is to get their child involved in music as soon as possible. And nothing better instrument wise as the pianoforte -

My wife and her family didn't play instruments, whereas my siblings and I did. So I'm biased that I think it's important to learn the basics of music when you're around this age... what better way than a piano where each key is clear as day.
@LuFins-Dad thanks, I have a bench I need to assemble, but the chair works for now. It's funny how I went from "let's get a cheap digital keyboard just so she has more than 20 keys and cat sounds" to "I want something that has weighted keys, dammit!" but stopped the budget before the "Ok, now I need to consult LD" phase took over. One day that will happen again when I get my beautiful Yamaha SH3.

I think once you understand the piano keyboard it's a lot easier to understand how other instruments work.

If I might make a suggestion... monitor Facebook Marketplace - conscientiously. At least in our area, not every day - but over time I have seen some amazing - and yes, sometimes those too good to be true - aren't all that great - BUT I have encountered some people who are seriously interested in giving a better than decent piano away to the next generation player. My spouse worked with a woman who was giving away a well cared for Yamaha c3 grand. I've seen Baldwins Hamiltons for free. Admittedly, you have the expense of moving and tuning - but still. Got to juice the algorithm a bit - so click on pianos in the Marketplace listing - and next time they'll show you more.

Once they figure out the basics by looking at the keyboard, you can move them onto something cool like a saxophone, or if they're really gifted a banjo.
