    ChatGPT Image Apr 9, 2025, 12_07_13 PM.png

I asked Chat GPT to create a picture of the forum posters and this is what it came up with. LOL

I said it was a group of smart people, including engineers, finance, medical, piano, computer, people etc.

I did not realize you guys all kind of looked the same. 555

It is scary how good and quick the AI picture generation is now.

The below took me 30 seconds to do.

ChatGPT? I thought they wouldn’t do pics of public figures.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

                        What do AI engineers do?
                        They train your replacement.
                        .
                        .
                        .
                        .
                        .
                        Heck, they train everyone's replacement.

Amazon lays off 14,000 due to AI... Target lays off 2,000 due to AI.... Chegg (obviously) lays off 45% of workforce due to AI, they were some of the first services to be easily replaced.

I am pretty confident people will adapt. New job types will be formed, etc.

I read somewhere that the % of people employed as blacksmiths in the late 1800's was quite high. 20 years later, the need for blacksmiths was way way down.

As they say, the only thing constant is change.
