Pretty sure I couldn’t do this.

Impressive.
I remember reading about that guy from Free Solo who would practice his grip strength by hanging from the frame that goes around a door for 30 minutes or so.

I’ve watched video of the boy doing bouldering. There’s one part where he has to launch himself to a handhold, hang by a hand, then pull himself up two hand holds before he can get a toe grip. It looks absolutely exhausting…
Still, had him helping me move a piano this afternoon, and was proud to see that he had to put his end down well before I needed to…

Try to dead hang from a bar for one minute. Most people can't do this.
Try hanging with one hand. Most people can't do that for a second.

I've heard there are lots of health/back benefits if you just dead hang each day for as long as you can.

I do that on a regular basis. It straightens you out pretty well, and your forearm strength increases significantly. In fact, I often do dead hang with left hand alone to to address the muscular imbalance between left and right forearm due to decades of, eh..., coffee drinking with the right arm!

Get woke. That's pronouns are they/that.

That sucks because I need to work on forearm strength and though I bought the hand crunch things I never think to use them. This would be something i could do quickly at the end of my gym session.
I think I’ll try them with weighted support under me. That’s how I do my pull-ups for the same reason.
