    Michigan consists of two peninsulas, but Kentucky consists of (at least) two independent land masses with other states between them.

        Louisiana has no mountains, but we do have a hill that's called a mountain, because perspective is everything.😄

        Driscoll Mountain is in Bienville Parish and is 535 feet above sea level.

          Wow. I’m at 328ft and I’m less than 1/2mi from the water.

            Wow, I never knew about the KentIcky Bend until now. That’s interesting, but you said (at least) two. Is there another area as well?

                                Yes! It's part of my favorite piece of trivia: "Which USA state is the further South, North, West, and East. The answer is

                                South: Hawaii
                                North: Alaska
                                West: Alaska
                                East: Alaska

                                  I had never checked before, but it seems I'm around 1,000 feet above sea level. I live in the Valley......

                                      Similarly, Greenland is further west north east and south, yes all of them, than Iceland.
