Michigan consists of two peninsulas, but Kentucky consists of (at least) two independent land masses with other states between them.

Wow, I never knew about the KentIcky Bend until now. Thatโ€™s interesting, but you said (at least) two. Is there another area as well?

Did you know that Alaska is in 2 hemispheres? Some of the Aleutian Islands are in the Eastern Hemisphere!

Yes! It's part of my favorite piece of trivia: "Which USA state is the further South, North, West, and East. The answer is

            South: Hawaii
            North: Alaska
            West: Alaska
            East: Alaska

Louisiana has no mountains, but we do have a hill that's called a mountain, because perspective is everything.๐Ÿ˜„

Driscoll Mountain is in Bienville Parish and is 535 feet above sea level.

I had never checked before, but it seems I'm around 1,000 feet above sea level. I live in the Valley......

I had to think about the East one, but I get it.

Similarly, Greenland is further west north east and south, yes all of them, than Iceland.

Russia is so north and so wide, that two people at the same time can be in daylight on different days.

                      Definitely not half-wide then.

                      Education is extremely important.
