I always think of a delicious pumpkin soup we’d make in ours when we did whole 30.

I've always thought they were pretty but don't see how they're any more useful than my nonstick soup pot. I could imagine buying one for a dinner party if it was for a dish going directly from the oven to the center of the table.

I have a stainless steel one, but the sides slope inward from top to bottom, making it narrower at the bottom with less browning space. I wanted something bigger.

We use ours multiple times a weeks. We started out using it only for Indian food, but it’s great for braising meat too.

I’ll often brown a piece of chuck then put it in the oven for low and slow.

I have a cheap one, not le creuset or staub. My first one lasted about five years before it chipped. Bought another cheap one. If it chips again I’ll get a premium one.

I have two made by Lodge.

            Great pots.

I have a 6L, 4.6L oval, 5L brazier, and a 1.7L handle pot Crofton from Aldi. Way cheap, I forget the pricing, but they work just fine 5+ years later.

Please let me know how it works. My wife keeps stealing my Lodge, which is meant for outdoor cooking…

Pork postponed. Didn’t get started early enough due to yard work, so it’s DoorDash ramen.

Excellent dish, and the pot performed well.

If I made it again it would be bone in pork loin. Shoulder is too fatty, which is my problem with pulled pork. But the flavor and gravy was great.

Ah, leeks. I haven’t made them in a while. I will when I get back from my trip.

I have some left over today as they were the large leeks. Maybe make some potato leek soup.
