Official Election Predictions!

My Haley prediction is purely a wild guess under the idea that:
- Trump wants to “win back” any female voters now inspired by the selection of Harris
- Trump can kinda blame Pence for managing the coronavirus response
I have no idea if Nikki is even interested. Would be fun to have two Indian Americans (dot not feather) debating each other.

If only. Imagine that same fun in 2024 when they both compete for the Oval Office.
Will the USA ever get to point in history when two major parties nominate candidates of Indian descent?

Judging the corn-to-not-corn ratio of my next poop from above the waterline seems more interesting and important to me than Biden's choice for whatever. Just sayin'.

As much as I would love to see her in the Oval Office, I don’t think that can happen until 2024. She is not going to reattach herself to Trump.
Thinking about this Kamala could have overwhelming advantage by 2024 and Nikki’s best shot might be now as unsavory as being attached to Trump may be.

Agreed. Though she seems poised to run (can you see it “2024, The Battle Of the Brown
BroadsBabesWomen?”), Bolton, at least in the early part of his book, paints a rather unflattering picture of her . She comes off as flighty, disorganized, impetuous.Sorta like Trump, I guess, so, maybe!

I agree with you Mik. There are too many "downside" and not enough "upside" to agreeing to be the Vice President candidate during this election.

She probably didn't want to bomb anyone.

Trump requires one thing to work for him. Loyalty. Pence has shown that in spades. I just don't see him getting dumped here.
-
@Mik said in Official Election Predictions!:
I would agree.
Me, too -- though with Trump, I rule out nothing. He is capable of dumping Pence purely for the headline value, especially if he thinks he'll win votes by doing so. It would be a crazy move, but -- look who we're talking about!

Yeah. But if this man can think at least 1 step ahead, he must realize that if he craps on the sycophants that are 100% true blue for him, he will never get people that will stand behind him through thick and thin.

B. The Senate may split 50-50, effectively giving Biden's "reasonable choice" VP control of the Senate
If the senate is split 50-50 Joe Manchin will control it.
Georgia Voters Made Joe Manchin President on Tuesday
Joe Machin is 73, and he will be 77 when he next faces the decision of whether to run for a third full term. If Manchin really has an “inner socialist” crying to get out, it could be that he decides to not seek re-election which would liberate him from limits he feels from the West Virginia electorate to maintain his moderate voting profile.
The pressure on him is going to be enormous. But one thing is certain, he does not need the influence or financial support of the Democrat Party or its outside interest groups to help him win in West Virginia if he does choose to run again. They have no leverage over him in that regard.
There are parts of the Democrat agenda that he is fully onboard with — such as guaranteed health care, which is a big issue for his constituents. He voted for Obamacare — which the GOP has not repealed. I’m not certain he would be a vote for a Bernie Sanders form of single-payor socialized medicine — not as long as Obamacare address the issue to the satisfaction of West Virginians’ needs.
He is not going to cripple West Viriginia’s economy with the use of any kind of carbon emission caps, and he will not support any legislation to end fracking.
Joe Manchin has been consistently moderate throughout his political career. He is the Democrat version of Susan Collins, He might vote for Chuck Schumer to be Senate Leader, but the socialist/liberal Democrats won’t be able to count on his vote as might be the case with 49 others.
