Alright, so far my election prediction is on track... Now let's see if Trump dumps Pence for Haley.

Harris presents as many minuses as plusses. But I’m not sure anyone else wouldn’t in this toxic environment.

You know I thought this was crazy sounding when you first mentioned it.

Now I can actually picture it. I still don’t think it will happen, but I think Trump really likes doing the unexpected thing that wins news cycles.

If it happens at all, it’ll be on the eve of the Democratic convention.

For Nikki to happen you have to overcome two obstacles:

1. How does this help vs. hurt her future odds?
2. Does Trump’s base come out to vote?

Would be an amazing spectacle but you only throw all caution to the wind when you think you are out and can somehow convince Nikki this helps her even in loss.

And it sure would be a spectacle. Which is why it’s just about plausible.

As much as I would love to see her in the Oval Office, I don’t think that can happen until 2024. She is not going to reattach herself to Trump.

My Haley prediction is purely a wild guess under the idea that:

• Trump wants to “win back” any female voters now inspired by the selection of Harris
• Trump can kinda blame Pence for managing the coronavirus response

I have no idea if Nikki is even interested. Would be fun to have two Indian Americans (dot not feather) debating each other.

Thinking about this Kamala could have overwhelming advantage by 2024 and Nikki’s best shot might be now as unsavory as being attached to Trump may be.

Agreed. Though she seems poised to run (can you see it “2024, The Battle Of the Brown Broads Babes Women?”), Bolton, at least in the early part of his book, paints a rather unflattering picture of her . She comes off as flighty, disorganized, impetuous.

Sorta like Trump, I guess, so, maybe!

I agree with you Mik. There are too many "downside" and not enough "upside" to agreeing to be the Vice President candidate during this election.

Trump requires one thing to work for him. Loyalty. Pence has shown that in spades. I just don't see him getting dumped here.

Yeah. But if this man can think at least 1 step ahead, he must realize that if he craps on the sycophants that are 100% true blue for him, he will never get people that will stand behind him through thick and thin.
