And y'all bitched about the pardons...

Much of that might even be true. But I’m not sure we’d ever know.
I mean, with all due respect to Insurrection Barbie.
BTW I did some research, Mrs. Barbie is (of course) not exactly accurate in her summary.
Indeed it seems he entered the Capitol on the west side through open doors, but he initially told police he was inside for 5-10 minutes, whereas he actually stayed for 38 minutes. That part is key to the first charge. He said he knew he wasn't supposed to be there (which was the initial charge... being in a restricted area "and staying" makes it a clear violation of the law - 18 U.S.C. § 1752(a)(1) and (2)) and that he was there with a purpose "to expose Pence as a traitor" (the second charge was obstructing an official proceeding, which he also said he was guilty of). Indeed it seems he hurt no one, although he did push up against the police shields multiple times. He also threw a water bottle, waved a baton, and "tapped" a metal pole against a Capitol window. Harmless overall, but not exactly something I'd recommend a friend do when visiting the Capitol.
It's hard to find evidence of the "terrorism enhancement" claim that would've increased his sentence from 6-12 months to 5-7 years, and therefore pushed him over the ledge, but I'm still looking. He was also a QAnon nut and to further prove his mental instability, was a Bernie supporter for before Trump! Ok kidding a bit with the Bernie piece... it's a shame he lost his life, regardless.

Jan. 6 Rioters Argue Pardons Apply to Charges Including Murder Plot, Child Porn
Defendants argue that Trump pardons should absolve them of additional crimes, some discovered during investigations of the Capitol riotThere is Edward Kelley, who was pardoned for assaulting police at the U.S. Capitol, but who is now fighting another case. In November, a jury convicted him of conspiring to murder the Federal Bureau of Investigation agents who investigated his Jan. 6 participation, with evidence showing he had a “kill list” of targets.
Kelley now argues that conviction should be tossed out, too.
The Tennessee man believes that President Trump’s blanket pardon covering “offenses related to events that occurred at or near” the Capitol on Jan. 6 extends beyond that day.
Other defendants are similarly arguing they should be absolved of other alleged crimes, such as illegal gun possession and child pornography, discovered during Jan. 6 investigations

A J6 pardon recipient is "arguing" that their child porn charges should be pardoned. Whatever exactly that means. I suspect it means nothing beyond that someone allegedly wants to make a legally incoherent case which will be destroyed in court, if it ever gets there.
Meanwhile, Biden actually released at least one actual child porn convict, if memory serves.

Some people think pardoning child porn traffickers is a loss, just so you know.
I wish you some sunny days, warm enough for a good bike ride. Between your spittle-flecked posts about Trump and your obvious desire to destroy all things MAGA, you need a mental health day.
Or some Jesus.

Live long and prosper.

I think you’re just frustrated because the vast majority of complaints about Trump from posters here in the last several weeks are about things you don’t have a good answer for, like talking up DOGE while ballooning the debt behind closed doors. And George isn’t here to Whatabout every post so it just sits there unanswered.
-
@jon-nyc I'm old enough to remember when you took exception to psychological deconstruction. But, I have no reason to expect the debt would be better under Harris. I understand your rhetoric is your reality, but I can promise you, you take it more seriously than anybody else. It's more of a constant stream of special pleading and double standards. Trump has not failed yet, not by a long shot, and I trust that the electorate will hold him and his party accountable if he does. Meanwhile, it will remain non-obvious why anybody would want to immerse themselves in a firehose of TDS from Twitter barfed onto this board.

I think what I see as a plus is Trump's ability to learn and adapt. While he was not my first choice and he is clearly flawed, this ability is huge in my eyes.
You simply cannot look at him and say he's dumb. He turned the nation's politics upside down in 2016. From 2021 through this year, he endured political persecution the likes of which have not been seen, at least in my knowledge of history. And now he's come in having a plan and hit the ground running like nothing we've ever seen.

People can come and go as they please. Or you can just block me if you wish.
The kind of disagreements and rhetoric we've seen lately is nothing new. it was the foundational principle of TNCR.

You say that, but if everybody left who finds your rage and bloodthirstiness tedious, you would have no more reason to post any of it. The feeling that you're upsetting people is the whole point.
