(BTW, their budget is about USD$40BB a year. US Budget for the year is USD%6.1 trillion.)
My mortgage costs me $36,000 per year, so I shouldn’t worry about $10 eggs?
If those eggs were feeding a thousand people, maybe.
(I don't know enough to have an opinion, I am naive and presumed USAID was helping lots of people, but now I can't get the phrase "bragging about using a coupon while buying a Ferrari" out of my head)

It’s nearly impossible to see a reasonable path forward for Palestinians. But the burden is rightly on Israel. You broke it. As noble a goal as it was, they did not eliminate Hamas.
No, you can eliminate it. The world won't sanction it, but it can be done.
Seen any Carthaginians lately?

I know, up close and personal. 15% Good, 85% Absolutely Criminal.
The USAID pause and reconfiguration is probably my 2nd favorite thing he’s done so far:
Not my experience, through my periphery and and also pretty close interaction with USAID is in quite a few foreign countries.
On a larger picture, change is necessary. It absolutely is. But change just for change is not always the answer. There is a reason that the US has been the most powerful country in the world for the last 100+ years. Things work, both in government and in the private side. Killing a mosquito with a sledgehammer may kill the mosquito but cause other damage that is worse than the mosquito.

You should, and that is why I said that. Each time President Trump goes to Florida to golf, it costs something like a minimum of USD$2MM in security costs alone. Is it worth it?
In my mind, yes. Should he go there less? I think it is up to him. A president is never "off the job". It is the most powerful job in the world. Being able to get some down time is a necessary part of the job.

It was only $20K last week.
Welcome to Trump's America.

Oh, I've spoken on that many times. It's only in the last century or so that it would not have been done.

Look at the GDP if the U.S. and look at where it comes from. Now, compare government's contribution in the two decades before WW2 and the last two decades.
Tell me what you find...
