    Yeah, it's petty, I agree.

It's not the pettiness so much as the hypocrisy that struck me.

Or maybe she sees herself as a poor innocent victim of the patriarchy having to dress up like that. And I use the term 'poor' in it's loosest possible context.

I disagree. She's a video personality with a very popular show on YouTube. It's part of her job to look good. Just as David Muir sits behind a desk, with a nice suit and necktie, looking ever so slightly askance at the camera. It's his job to look good as well,

Now, when you're at the site of natural (?) disaster, "looking good," should be far far down the list of tings to consider. Glad that someone found devices to help with his vanity.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I had no idea who that was until this thread.

It occurs to me I can’t name any prime time anchor. Though maybe I’d recognize a name if I saw a list.

I thought this was going to be a thread pertaining to Muir the naturalist and something to do with the fires.

Also in his defense, it was probably his makeup assistant that did it, not at his request. It’s what they do.

          Don't forget reading a script.

Look good and read words. That's journalism these days.

He moderated the presidential debate in the presidential campaign you just lived through.

Is that why she’s allegedly so popular?

I wasn’t aware of the attraction of flatulence permeating US TV media.

                  Elbows up!

Here's how it's done. No logo, no clothespins, and I like this guy's reporting style btw.
