We just tried. We’ve never had to wait more than a minute or two, ever. Here in deep red Warren County the turnout is insane. Half hour wait. They were prepared for it as they had big orange traffic barriers directing you around the back of the building to line up.

My BIL and SIL had the same experience in Indianapolis.

    Looks like record turnout.

Sounds terrifying. Even the traffic cones are decked out in Nazi orange, just like their God-Emperor Trump.

Looks like my track record of election predictions continues to suck. I said we'd have fewer votes than in 2020. I also said Biden would win!

I wonder how much it’s cannibalising Election Day turnout. Is the heavy early voting just shifting people up, or is it indicative of a deeper movement.

I get the efficiency argument, that if they know you already voted they can focus on others, but I’m not entirely convinced the push for early voting really helps.

I voted early this year, but I'm still undecided about who I would like to win. Leaning towards Kamala right now, but that could change. I can't remember how I was leaning when I voted. I change my mind pretty often.

Horace is pulling a Dewey on us. 😆

But seriously, we went back this morning. Still very busy but they were staffed for it. A well oiled machine.

                            Politically, evidently.

We’ve passed 80,000,000 early votes. That’s essentially half of the 2020 electorate.
