Some rando on twitter. Not anyone I follow.

        Looks like Crooks, though.

Yesterday, Mrs. George said, "He's just a kid - look he's wearing braces." Probably a picture from high school, or earlier.

Yeah the main photo of him I believe is from like 2021? The trans (mental illness) wouldn't be a stretch, as we've seen a few times before.

I think the truth is that a sad, lonely young man made a very bad decision.

Agreed. Not that anyone cares, but my gut was this was just a dude who decided to see what he could get away with and likely live famously in history books. I lived long enough in DC to know that there are a billion security gaps if you really wanted to try to get away with something... and much easier when it's in the middle of the Pennsylvania countryside.

I e said this before but I’m surprised we don’t see more of it.

Also I’d be curious to know how many potential shooters are thwarted, and how close they are when that happens.

We have very little information to go on to gauge how often security measures prevent would be assassinations. The reason we know about this one, is the secret service face plant.

Yup, I think this is it. I heard that when they searched his phone, there were searches for both President Biden and President Trump. My guess is that if President Biden would have had a rally in the area rather than President Trump, he would have been at it. Quite sad.

"The assassin was your guy", say the people who hate the guy who the assassin targeted.

My own perspective remains that it doesn't matter what this young crazy guy had in his addled brain. We know about this for reasons other than what was going on in his brain. Most importantly, a ridiculous faceplant by the secret service.

Seems to be the other way around. George’s post is from a guy who runs an alt-right twitter clone, who wants to assure us that the shooter was the lone libtard on Gab.

“The assassin was your guy” is implicit in the messaging that was sure to lede with “registered republican” as they described the shooter. GK’s post was I’m sure more nuanced.

Torba never said he was the lone libtard.

Did you read the FBI's request?

                              FBI, in Senate testimony...

He might have been the only libtard on Gab, but he was a libtard on Gab.

In other news, Josh Hawley visited the Butler site. Senator Hawley is on the oversight committee.

The FBI made him leave the site. Active investigation was the reason.

Folks, it's been what, 17 days? How much more site investigation can the FBI do?
