Actual conversation I had with an old customer today - (Politics related)
-
X - "Hi Brad, this is _____________, remember me? I bought a Mason & Hamlin AA from you back in 2016."
Me - "Hi ___________, I sure do! I hope everything is going well for you, how can I be of service, today?"
X - "Would you guys be interested in selling the piano on consignment for me?"
Me - "We prefer to just purchase outright or take on trade-in. Why are you looking to sell? If you're thinking of downsizing, the instrument might be worth more as a trade than as a consignment."
Her - "I'm selling because Joe Fucking Biden is President, so I can't sell my house, and I need the money to help survive that bastard's last year in office."
-
You should offer her special Donald Trump pricing on it - i.e. Tell her you'll give her $25K, then when it arrives tell her you can only manage $15K.

There's a guy rides his bike up Route 1 near where I work with a massive 'FUCK JOE BIDEN' flag on it. He's been doing it for the last 3 years.
The fact that he's willing to ride his bike on Route 1 should tell you something about his sanity, however I bet he blames his lack of employment on the fact of his Presidency, rather than the fact that he hasn't had a haircut (or quite possibly bathed) in at least 3 years.

What does Biden have to do with selling her house? She seems stable. I'm sure she needs the money, and I'm sure she didn't spend $60 on one of those Trump constitutio-bibles.

Lufins customer lives near the whitehouse.
Joe keeps knocking on her door looking for Doctor Jill.
Just hold his hand and help him walk home.

Whistle past the graveyard.
-
I have no intention to sell any house yet I get inundated by huge numbers of unsolicited calls/texts asking if I am interested in selling a house. Nay, "selling" a house is not a problem in this market; "buying" is.

Those companies are not buying anywhere close to a fair value.
-
Many communities are setting up rules preventing selling to these types of businesses.
