I'm not watching unless they reference "Fart Proudly."

          Please love yourself.

              They did...sort of.

Watched a couple yesterday. It's good, but not compelling.

The sets, costumes and dialog are all great. Well, the dialog is good.

The acting is fine as well, but I never lose sight of the fact that it's F'ing Michael Douglas playing Ben Franklin.

The story...well, it's all about his time in Paris. It's intrigue, politics, spying, etc. A great amount of the story is devoted to his grandson.

Good, but not memorable, like "John Adams."

Nice thing about period pieces...They tend to age pretty well.

                    Makes some really good points.

                    1. Though mildly interesting, Franklins sojourn in Europe is, although significant, hardly fodder for an 8 hour miniseries.
                    2. The pace is not slow - it's glacial.
                    3. Too many repetitions of intrigue all of which blend together.

We Were The Lucky Ones on Hulu is pretty good. So is Sugar, which I think is on Apple.
