It rarely makes sense to leave the house, much less on any sort of group transportation vehicle.

      Education is extremely important.

You should have taken a bus or carpooled.
Smaller carbon footprint that way too.

Train is almost as low as but, but MUCH more comfy....

Taking a train instead of a car for medium-length distances would cut your emissions by around 80%.4 Using a train instead of a domestic flight would reduce your emissions by around 86%.5

It’s not the plane’s emissions that @jon-nyc is worried about.

It's a shame Jon's not going to Paris, he could save tons of planet. Less fat people, too, which is ironic because the food's way better.

            I was only joking

In fairness I think I'd rather be in a foxhole.

I was saved. The guy in the aisle (fat guy was by the window) agreed to switch with my girlfriend who was in another row (a story all to itself).

Then my little petite girlfriend took the middle seat and seat real close to me so the guy could spill over with impunity.

By the way, he was a good guy. Forgive my momentary frustration and sizeist comments. Some of my best friends are fat, after all. So I can’t be sizeist.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Ah yes, having a petite squeeze helps in these situations.

Don’t give the airlines any idea, less they start collecting size info upon booking and assigning seats by interleaving sizes.
