Availability of porn roughly correlates with measures of freedom and wealth.

I for one would not want to live in a society that bans pornography. The only ones that do this successfully are the Taliban.

Yeah. They only have goats and little boys.

You've been to Ax's dungeon basement?

I haven't. Based on what interactions I've had with him, I don't have an overwhelming desire to rub elbows with him.

Assuming he has a wife (female) and children, I wish them well.

I sat here and counted up just yesterday. I had conversations with 28 different folks.

Yeah, it was a slow day...Do you have that many individual conversations in a day? In a week?

I don't meet many actual people. Just customers. And engineers, of course. And management.

I think that might be why I come here. It makes real life seem better, somehow.

Not sure whether that counts, but I've given a lecture in front of 400 people today, including a lengthy Q&A.

But my point was that you should meet a few TNCR folks face to face every once in a while and not build ones image of a person merely from your interaction on the forum.

The best part about meeting someone is that you can then gossip about them with great authority.

Whoopee, I've been in front of a couple of thousand a few times and spoken to several hundred on multiple occasions.

But that's not conversations. How many one-on-one conversations do you have on a daily average?

And my point is, there are multiple people here, who I'm sure could be a pleasant dinner companion.

I certainly could be wrong, but I suspect Ac could wear mighty thin, mighty fast.

Actually, I'm pretty much me, 'ere I go.

You be nice. I be nice. You have manners, I have manners. You fuck with me, and you will have a bad day.

Simple. And it works for me.
