Fair points. I think the dude was on drugs though, I wonder if that info has been released.

Maybe learned, yes. But that LEO had no way of knowing this guy's history, and you'd think the guy'd be smart enough not to poke the bear by driving 100 mph. You might be right that drugs were involved.

Don't be an idiot around people who carry guns for a living and are allowed to use them .

Did you know they all have guns and clubs? Why would you want to start a fight with someone like that?

There’s a dead magat bitch you could have given that advice to.

Am I missing something or did both of those videos end before the shot.

It is VERY easy to drive 100 mph through many stretches of Georgia on 95, especially south of Atlanta. I shadow my cruise control set on 95 when I went through there just 2 years ago and was still driving in the middle or right lanes because I was being passed. I don’t think drugs had to be involved…

The sound of the shot didn’t come through the audio pickups. The cop is saying “shots fired’” at the end of the first video. I had thought it was a taser in his hand that he held against the guy’s abdomen, but it must have been his firearm.

Ok, so he shot him during the altercation. Justified AF but sad all the same.

Not sure why the guy was driving 100 mph.

I remember reading a story about a guy who was speeding, got in an accident, someone died and he got into a whole lot of trouble.

Not his exact words, but something like, "Yeah, I would have saved a whole 13 minutes of driving time. Instead I am spending 5 years in jail"

Lots of crime and consequence is rooted in random unlucky outcomes that the criminal chose to roll the dice on.

It was a cheap shot but it seems remarkable how you’re all law-and-ordery until the perp is a Trump supporter then you become Bobby Seal.

Yep, everyone here knows that had it been a BLM mob violently breaking through a barrier to where congress was, and the capitol police shot him, you’d have been outraged.
