Georgia police killed exonerated man

Dashcam.
I was confused about why the police officer was so belligerent until I heard that the guy was doing 100…
Still, if the cop hadn’t been sounding so belligerent and angry, this whole thing would have likely gone in a completely different direction.

I assumed that was his command voice.

Then he needs a new job. The way he approached the car, he was angry as hell and also scared. That escalated the situation. His emotional overreaction fed the other.
He was justified in the shooting, but poor training and/or personal fitness for the job contributed.
I’ve been pulled over in a similar manner once, with the same type of demeanor from the cop. I had to restrain myself from making it worse. If I had been unjustly jailed for 16 years then I might not have.
I don’t think this should just be called justified and swept under the rug. There is something to be learned from this.

Maybe learned, yes. But that LEO had no way of knowing this guy's history, and you'd think the guy'd be smart enough not to poke the bear by driving 100 mph. You might be right that drugs were involved.

It is VERY easy to drive 100 mph through many stretches of Georgia on 95, especially south of Atlanta. I shadow my cruise control set on 95 when I went through there just 2 years ago and was still driving in the middle or right lanes because I was being passed. I don’t think drugs had to be involved…

Am I missing something or did both of those videos end before the shot.
The sound of the shot didn’t come through the audio pickups. The cop is saying “shots fired’” at the end of the first video. I had thought it was a taser in his hand that he held against the guy’s abdomen, but it must have been his firearm.
-
Not sure why the guy was driving 100 mph.
I remember reading a story about a guy who was speeding, got in an accident, someone died and he got into a whole lot of trouble.
Not his exact words, but something like, "Yeah, I would have saved a whole 13 minutes of driving time. Instead I am spending 5 years in jail"

Don't be an idiot around people who carry guns for a living and are allowed to use them .
There’s a dead magat bitch you could have given that advice to.
