The BATF and FBI had to read it. And investigate.
These things take time, you know. Especially since the FBI was having to protect politicians (Clinton, Biden, et al.). They are very busy people down there in their butt-ugly building...

The more interesting part of this case is how many warnings the school had that this kid had a gun. The kid had been showing it to classmates all day, and word had gotten all the way up to the principal, who did nothing. The theory goes, that schools are hesitant to punish black or brown kids, because systemic racism stats.
Education is extremely important.

The FBI is chasing down an entire inbox worth of leads. They try to understand entire picture before they make any charges, they don’t just pause to charge on first evidence of a crime.
By the way, did you hear the threat from Biden’s legal team that indicates they’re expecting the firearm charge?

Yup and the teacher is suing for tens of millions of bucks.

I know plenty of folks there, you'd be surprised how boring and non-political/strategic it all is. It's all procedures and paperwork, and folks wearing suits while also armed. Even the building itself is boring, if not offensively so. Heck, that dude who was "fixing" the flag on the stage before Jack spoke? One of my top 3 friends, lol.

The leftist mind virus has infiltrated institutions and businesses, to the extent that if you want to get ahead on the status ladder, you have to think and say the right things politically. One does not have to think too hard, to be able to predict the sorts of things people will think and say, as they live in those environments. It's a peculiarity of the human mind, that we end up believing, and feeling, that the socially advantageous received ideas, are the true ideas. 89th, based on what you know of the FBI, how would a Trump supporter be thought of there? Could one safely be an outspoken Trump supporter, like one could obviously be an outspoken Trump hater? If the answer to that is no, how about extending that to being an outspoken Republican?

The Newport News Education Association President condemned the premise of the school division’s motion to dismiss Abigail Zwerner’s pending $40 million lawsuit.
The motion was filed last week by attorneys representing the School Board and argues that Zwerner, who was shot in her classroom at Richneck Elementary in January by a 6-year-old student, is only entitled to file a worker’s compensation claim because the injury she sustained from the shooting is a “workplace injury,” and that the shooting was a hazard of the job.
James Graves, the president of the Newport News teachers union, says that argument is “ridiculous.”
“This is not military, this is not the police department. This is an education system,” Graves said in an interview Wednesday.
In a Facebook statement posted Tuesday, Graves said, “These lawyers have started a significant hurricane in our district by saying that being shot is part of what teachers signed up for.”Such statements, he said, are “a slap in our faces.”
