I like Levin's tv show. Too much screeching on the radio program.
I think I saw that interview. It revolved around Trump's book, for the most part. It was not an adversarial interview nor was it meant to be. And even in this buttery intro, Levin was right about some things... Without a lying press, Trump could have gotten more done, but he was a pretty successful President, even while fighting for his political life. He also has the ability to freewheel a press conference of interview on the fly, in a way that few politicians can...You may not like what he says, and he can get a recollected fact wrong, but he is hellatiously transparent.

There are certain things that are undeniable, regardless of Levin's fawning.
The press and the Democrats tried everything they possibly could, and some they couldn't, to destroy his presidency. Everything plus.
His presidency was successful on a lot of fronts - regulatory relief, economy, waking NATO up, essentially ending 20 years of war in Afghanistan, his handling of COVID was probably as good as anyone else's would have been - Warp Speed got vaccines to the world in record time, increased employment for minorities, cheap energy.

Agreed, although his early handling of COVID was a big fumble IMO, overall the metrics from his presidency are excellent. I've said many times that as of the January 2020 SOTU, he was on track for an easy reelection, but COVID fumbles (and election loss denial) soured his legacy...bigly.
I missed this thread the first time around. Levin... wow. I used to listen to him about 15 years ago on my commutes home in the afternoon. As Jolly said, too shrieking for my taste and he followed Hannity who I really, really enjoyed listening to.
Anyway back to Levin's point about Trump's ability to speak. I think I've also said before that Trump's ability to communicate, remember details, change topics, throw in funny jabs... his mind thinks so quickly and is so sharp. So I agree with Levin on that point.
