Apparently some trans allies are also boycotting the brand for not coming out more strongly in defense of the Mulvaney relationship.

"Anheuser-Busch CEO Michel Doukeris addressed the Bud Light controversy on an earnings call with investors Thursday, downplaying the brand's partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney that prompted a boycott from conservatives.
Doukeris told investors there is "misinformation" spreading on social media about the company's team-up with Mulvaney.
"We need to clarify the facts that this was one can, one influencer, one post and not a campaign," Doukeris said. "

There were at least two posts, and the whole thing went down quickly. Who knows how many more posts may have followed?

At the same time, it is worth pointing out that Coors-Molson's stock is up a fair amount. I think a fair amount of the Bud Light drinkers will likely permanently switch over to Miller Lite or Coors Lite. Bud Light's popularity was waning before all this, which is why they were trying to shake up the marketing. On a global scale, however, Bud Light is their 7th best-selling beer.
Target and the Dodgers are going to be much more interesting stories. It is a lot harder to switch big box retailers and gorocers. And the Dodgers? If you're a team fan that has decades and thousands of dollars invested? It will be interesting to see what happens there.
