For catfishing, I've tight-lined, trot-lined, bush-hooked and used hoop nets, but I've never noodled. Be my luck, I'd reach down there and grab a snapping turtle.

INT. PIER - DAY

A man, JASON, is fishing at the end of the pier. He is focused on his fishing line and doesn’t notice the large Tarpon swimming near the surface of the water.

JASON
(excited)
I think I’ve got something big on the line!

Suddenly, the Tarpon bites down hard on Jason’s arm. He cries out in pain as the Tarpon pulls him over the side of the pier and into the water.

JASON
(struggling)
Aaah! It’s got me!

Despite the pain, Jason holds on tight to the fishing rod and starts pulling the Tarpon towards the pier. The Tarpon fights back, pulling Jason through the water and thrashing wildly.

JASON
(determined)
I’m not letting go!

With a powerful pull, Jason manages to bring the Tarpon up to the side of the pier. He grabs the fish with his free hand and struggles to get back onto the pier.

JASON
(panting)
I’ve got it! I’ve got it!

The Tarpon continues to thrash and fight, but Jason holds on tight, determined to bring the massive fish onto the pier. With a final surge of strength, Jason lifts the Tarpon up and over the side of the pier, where it flops and thrashes on the wooden planks.

JASON
(breathless)
I did it!

A crowd of onlookers gathers around, amazed by Jason’s feat. He smiles in triumph as he holds up the massive Tarpon, his arm still bleeding from the bite.

Looks like I’ve got a new trophy to add to my collection.
