@George-K said in Supreme Court ruled on transgender discrimination:

4D Chess: Trump Announces He Is Gay So He Cannot Be Fired From The Presidency

WASHINGTON, D.C.โ€”After SCOTUS ruled Monday that LGBTQ people cannot be fired for their orientation, President Trump immediately announced he has long been in the closet as a gay man.

"Men? Love 'em," Trump said at a press conference. "Yep, I'm gay. 100% all about the rainbow, the men raining from the sky, all of that stuff. Totally gay."

"I am probably the gayest person, maybe ever. Many people say so."

Liberals screamed at the sky in protest as their move to protect LGBTQ people from being discriminated against in the workplace backfired. The celebration outside the Supreme Court quickly turned somber as they realized what they had done, guaranteeing Trump will never be allowed to be removed from the White House. The progressive activists immediately began working to get the ruling overturned.

Legal analysts said Trump's move was "genius" and "legally foolproof." "Yeah, there's not much anyone can do to get Trump out of the White House now," said Dr. Harry Von Ulrich, a constitutional law professor. "We're stuck with him until 2032, best case scenario."

Mike Pence immediately resigned in protest.

I have no shit decided that in my next team meeting for work, I'm going to mention the Supreme Court decision and declare how happy I am because "this is a huge win for us."

Do it. I am serious when I say I am close. I give exactly that many fvcks (so to speak) about the alleged discrimination I'd face for being gay, and it'd be a fun little point to make. YOLO.

I've reached the point where I think I will, if only to provide me with more TNCR topics of conversation afterward.

      Please love yourself.

At my last job in England one of the engineers asked whether it counted as being gay if he had sex with blokes but didn't really enjoy it.

          I was only joking

๐Ÿ˜„ What I love about that, is that if you asked that at an all-staff meeting during mandatory sensitivity training, if you were able to keep your nerve and say it deadly serious enough, there's nothing they could do to you.

Years ago, during one of those mandatory sexual harassment classes, where the person drones on about the nastiness against women in the workplace and then the poor dears go home to men who mistreat them...I couldn't help myself. I had to ask the session leader if there were any...sniff, sniff...resources for men whose wives physically mistreated them at home.

Very good advice on this thread.
When you can, use humor to make your point, even if you need to say the opposite of what you really mean, and then whatever you do, keep a straight face as if you're serious.

I thought about that, too. It would be an awesome way to signal some bullshit nonverbally. And I work with people who would absolutely question me on it, which wouldn't end well.

That is obviously unequivocally true. Many times Trump has been openly and loudly decried in large meetings in my workplace. I have never heard a single person publicly or privately say they support the man. (I have said this privately but never publicly.) And that sort of discrimination has real effects on one's professional abilities and advancement potential.

I suppose the slightly more clear-headed lefties would admit to all that and say that yes, that sort of discrimination is right and just. The less clear-headed would deny it. That would make for an interesting roll call. Which lefties would accept that as just, and which would deny it. I guess the latter would pretend that lots of workplaces are exactly like that against supporters of Dem candidates, so it's a wash.

                            Education is extremely important.

And I know you never said anything negative about the previous administration because you wouldn't have a job.
