Trump vs. DeSantis

- Trumpflation… How many billions did Lame Donald just give away? ARP was just the icing on the cake baked by the Twitter in Chief.
The real link between Trump and inflation is when his hand-picked Fed chief quadrupled the number of dollars in circulation over a couple of months. Not sure that will resonate with the average primary voter.

Jon, how do you suppose a Hillary Clinton administration would have differed in this regard? Would you have expected different monetary decisions?

I would also try to get Elon on board.

@Horace You’ve asked this before and the answer remains no.
Just verifying that the “real connection” between Trump and inflation you claim, is political messaging nonsense, to be stacked with the rest. But thank you for your transparency.

Would be very nice for everybody but those who take Trump seriously. As a political tool and as a lesser of evils, he got out of hand.

And a second term would be worse.

I saw that last night.
"DeSanctimonious."
I hope Trump doesn't run (but he will because Trump) and I pray the voters of the GOP have enough common sense to not pick him again.
But, as Bill Barr said....

So what did DeSantis say or do to piss him off? Refuse to kiss his fat ass?

Kill your competition young. The Democrats have been trying to kill DeSantis for quite a while, unsuccessfully. I think Trump will reveal his true nature if he tries and lose support.

wrote on 6 Nov 2022, 18:17 last edited byI get it that the Democrats want to discredit DeSantis. In fact it’s a given they would.
Doesn’t explain Trump’s attack. Neither have even announced their candidacy. Seems unwarranted at this stage - unless Trump knows that if DeSantis seeks the nomination he will probably carry the conservative vote in the GOP and defeat Trump. In fact, Trump might not even make it past the primaries to the Convention.
Would be interesting to watch if that were to happen. A Trump tantrum accusing DeSantis of stealing the vote.

The GOP has been, in my estimation, making a huge mistake by focusing the man rather than the popular policies.

The GOP has to make a deal with Mr. Trump.
He quits politics.
They make him into a beloved former president.
Nobody said it would be easy.

“DeSanctimonious” sounds beyond Trump.
Too many syllables.
Won’t last. -

I think he still did. LOL.
But, If all the lights are not shining on President Trump, he is like a little kid and gets all whiny and stamps his feet. I think Gov DeSantis is getting a bit of publicity and the lights are not quite as bright on President Trump.

Nah, he won't do that. He can't stand being "yesterday's news".

The chatter is that Trump really crossed the line with that comment, which is probably good.
OTOH, he was campaigning for "Little Hands Marco Rubio" this weekend.

Not true.
Thought Trump did pretty well, by actual measures.
