    Kill your competition young. The Democrats have been trying to kill DeSantis for quite a while, unsuccessfully. I think Trump will reveal his true nature if he tries and lose support.

      @Mik

      I get it that the Democrats want to discredit DeSantis. In fact it’s a given they would.

      Doesn’t explain Trump’s attack. Neither have even announced their candidacy. Seems unwarranted at this stage - unless Trump knows that if DeSantis seeks the nomination he will probably carry the conservative vote in the GOP and defeat Trump. In fact, Trump might not even make it past the primaries to the Convention.

      Would be interesting to watch if that were to happen. A Trump tantrum accusing DeSantis of stealing the vote.

      Elbows up!

        The GOP has been, in my estimation, making a huge mistake by focusing the man rather than the popular policies.

          The GOP has to make a deal with Mr. Trump.

          He quits politics.

          They make him into a beloved former president.

          Nobody said it would be easy.

            “DeSanctimonious” sounds beyond Trump.
            Too many syllables.

                        The chatter is that Trump really crossed the line with that comment, which is probably good.

                        OTOH, he was campaigning for "Little Hands Marco Rubio" this weekend.

                                          2. Reminding everyone you have no discipline by attacking a top gubernatorial candidate popular with the base two days before an election and a week before launching a comeback campaign is...an interesting strategy."

                                          It is not so much no discipline as an inability to view his every utterance as anything other than ultimate power.
