As for the formal nomination of Trump to again be the Republican Party’s Presidential candidate, will it happen in a Jacksonville, Florida?
Oh, and this little paragraph in the article caught my eyes:
“The RNC’s executive committee voted Wednesday to reuse its 2016 platform to avoid requiring delegates to debate and vote on new policies, according to a person familiar with the decision.”
It looks to me like they are afraid that if there is a debate and a vote on policies, both will end up embarrassing.

Nobody reads the platform. The MSM and the people they quote and interview are the source of truth in this country. I stand corrected too not a Russian Spy but an agent of Russia who apparently was “made” in a golden shower ceremony.

I bet it's not part of the official platform that every right thinking and right feeling American should believe that white cops enjoy murdering innocent black people, but never the less right thinking and right feeling people world wide believe that, because that political party wants them to believe it.

That goal has been undermined by the current Administration’s feckless treatment of troop commitments and blatant disregard of advice from commanders on the ground, particularly with regard to Afghanistan.
- The current President and his allies on Capitol Hill have used those agencies as a superlegislature, disregarding the separation of powers, to declare as law what they could not push through the Congress.
- The survival of the internet as we know it is at risk. Its gravest peril originates in the White House, the current occupant of which has launched a campaign, both at home and internationally, to subjugate it to agents of government.
- We will meet the return of Russian belligerence with the same resolve that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. We will not accept any territorial change in Eastern Europe imposed by force, in Ukraine, Georgia, or elsewhere, and will use all appropriate constitutional measures to bring to justice the practitioners of aggression and assassination.
- A Republican president will never embrace a Marxist dictator, in Venezuela or anywhere else.
So in 2020, the Republican Party will adopt a Platform that has so many grievances and misgivings against “the current administration.” @Loki can probably find solace that Trump himself will probably never read the Republican Party’s Platform.
