Congrats on the 99.9 mile ride! Sucks you couldn't finish the full 100.

He was thinking so much about January 6th the whole ride, that sort of outrage is draining. He couldnβt even crawl that last .1 miles, after the psychological toll taken by Donald Trump and his insurrectiony minions.

Absolutely fabulous! You and the guy next to you look so switched on.
Here's wishing you hold the memory of that moment forever.

You struck a moment, Blondie. As you were typing this, I was mulling taking up painting. My thought: I can't paint. I could never do that.
Plus, all those painty smells. Bleh. I didn't invest $43 in essential oils and a diffuser to make the house smell good just to funk it up with painty smells.
BUT if I really really wanted to, I'd try at least. Are you sure you couldn't do that ride? If you want to, I mean.
Now returning the thread to Jon's great achievement.

I'm guessing his ass is in worse shape than his legs.
So just another typical monday morning for Jon....
Well, if we're going by size, he ought to be darn near painless.

Great ride. How're your legs doing?
After day one my neck was killing me, and I thought it might be my downfall day 2. But day two towards the end my legs were about spent and I wasn't noticing my neck, it didn't help that half the elevation gain was in the last 10 miles.
Oh - Day 1 started at 49F with an 18mph headwind, gusts of up to 30.

Way to go, Jon!!
Really impressive, a great accomplishment! -
@89th Seriously - I rode the 1/10th of a mile from the finish line to the parking lot to make it a full 100.
